We’ll hike into the heart of the swamp along the Rice Plantation Levee Trail to view Florida’s seventh-largest cypress tree while immersing ourselves in floodplain swamp, flatwoods, dome swamp, floodplain forest, and upland mixed forest; children may join only if accompanied by an adult, are capable of a 5-mile hike, and have their own separate water supply.
