Bartram Murphy Island Paddle and Hiking Tour

Tour participants will launch from Brown’s Landing and paddle (1 mile) to Murphy Island and Bartram Site, BT-11. There, we’ll do a short stroll to look at the island habitat and view some plants mentioned by Bartram. From there, we’ll re-launch and continue our 4-mile paddle along the north side of Murphy Island and around Polly Island to the mouth of Dunn’s Creek (BT-8). From there, we’ll return to Brown’s Landing.

On this tour we’ll paddle to Murphy Island where we’ll do a short stroll on the island with author, Master Naturalist and professional river guide, Lars Andersen.
